This is an example package. As an HR Professional, I will create a personal coaching package tailored to your own needs, that will help you return to work after redundancy.
Redundancy can be an incredibly stressful time. Often you have been in a role for a long period of time and developed a highly specialised skill set, then suddenly the role no longer exists and you are left wondering "what do I do next?"
Redundancy provides the opportunity to review your career and decide whether to continue in your current career path, or to utilise your transferable skills by moving into a different type of role. Many people find it helpful to complete this review and refocusing exercise with an HR professional, who can help you to recognise your transferable skills.
Identify your skills, experience, passions and motivations to understand your unique selling points.
Find a rewarding career path, and create an easy to follow plan needed to achieve it.
Develop confidence in your own abilities and empower you to move past your concerns.
Develop your credibility by enabling you to demonstrate the skills and behaviours which lead to promotion.
Learn to sell yourself effectively and gain the roles you want.
This example package consists of six hours of coaching that is typically selected from the sessions outlined below. The timescales are approximate and are flexible, so you can spend less time on a specific element and therefore more time on another element. Additional coaching sessions or CV writing services are available at a 20% discount to customers purchasing this package.
Personal coaching sessions are available at £125 per 60 minutes or £175 for 90 minutes, these sessions suit people who only require support with a specific area of their career.
During a free 10-15 minute telephone consultation we discuss your goals, the challenges you are facing and your specific concerns, which will enable me to target these issues during the coaching session. In order to prepare your coaching session, I may ask you to provide your CV.
Career Focus (90 minute session)
Prior to the session, I will ask you to complete a comprehensive assessment to identify your skills, experience, passions and motivations which we will review during the session.
We will review your career to-date, discuss if you wish to find a similar role or move to something new.
Learn to establish what is most important to you, and how you can include this in your career or personal life to bring you satisfaction.
Learn to identify the skills that you most enjoy using.
Learn to clarify what you need from your career, and what you can offer to your next employer.
Career Planning (30-90 minutes session across two sessions) May only be 30 minutes if you choose to stay in the same role
Determine which roles to apply for by exploring and evaluating your career options, so you can identify the most appealing option. Some of these may be completely new ideas, others may be more closely related to your current role. This will require additional research by you after the first session.
Learn to overcome any specific concerns or obstacles which may prevent you making a career change.
Learn to develop your preferred path into a long term career objective that shows where you want your career to go and why the option is right for you.
Career Development (60 minute session)
Learn to identify your next role and ensure that you are only applying for roles which you will realistically be interviewed for based on your current skills.
Learn to assess your current skills against your long term career objective and develop an easily actionable plan, showing the interim roles between your current position and your goal and how you can develop the skills needed to progress into this role.
CV Writing (This is not included in the price of this package, but is available as a discounted optional extra)
Your set of written marketing materials will need to include an impressive LinkedIn profile, a compelling CV and Cover Letter.
Marketing Strategy (60 minute session)
Learn to increase your visibility by ensuring that you are consistently demonstrating the skills and behaviours needed.
Learn to develop a career search strategy focussed on the type of role you are seeking to ensure that you spend your time searching for roles as effectively as possible.
Learn to ensure that you maintain a consistent marketing image and minimise anything which may detract from your image.
Marketing - Selling your skills (60 minute session)
Learn to turn your skills, experience, passions and motivations into your Unique Selling Points and then learn how to use these to differentiate yourself from other candidates on your CV and through your interview answers.
Mock Interview and Interview Skills (90 minute session)
I conduct a realistic mock interview with you and provide constructive verbal feedback on how you come across to an interviewer, how you can improve and anything which detracts from your performance.
Further interview practice. We practice your interview skills, in a friendly supportive environment to reinforce your new skills and ensure you can deliver the answers successfully. This will help you to feel confident, less nervous and will dramatically increase your chances of gaining the role.
During each session we will work closely together in a friendly supportive environment to develop your confidence, overcome your specific concerns and discuss the points which are most important to you.
